New Range of Journals and Self-Help Guided Notebooks

I am a big fan of writing. I know this will sound like a strange thing to say given the nature of my business, but let me explain. There is something very special about the act of writing things down. You can have all the digital lists, apps, trackers and memory aids you like, but actually putting pen to paper  hits different.

Top tip : whenever I make a new list, I always include “make a list” and then as soon as I have finished the list, I have something to tick or cross off. It is both encouraging and empowering. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by everything I have to do, I am off to a flyer and already feeling a sense of accomplishment.

Another form of writing I am passionate about is journalling. I journal daily, sometimes using various prompts, sometimes “freehand”, usually soon after I have woken up. I find it gets me in a good mindset to start the day. That said, if I have anything playing on my mind during the day or something I need to figure out, sometimes I will pick up my journal and do a brain dump in an attempt to sort it all out.

With all of this in mind, I have developed a range of  journals that I hope will help us all improve our mental health and well-being.

The first of these is called Wake Up, Wind Down Daily Journal and has pages for morning and evening journaling. As the name suggests, it is intended to help wake up and prepare for the day ahead and then to wind down as we ready ourselves for sleep. Hopes and expectations in the morning; reflection and quiet consideration at bedtime.

I hope it will prove useful and that everyone benefits from taking a few moments for themselves at the start and end of each day. We are living in difficult times and we owe it to ourselves to practice self-care whenever we can.

Coming soon, a dream diary, a recipe journal, an ideas notebook and a gratitude journal, with much more to follow.
